ISO 22301 Certification Process and my Darwin Roadshow
March has certainly be a hectic month!
I am really proud to have worked with one of my clients to achieve an Australian first in having a full location pass the stage 1 audit process for ISO22301 – Business Continuity Standard certification. It was an intense process over a two day period with external certification auditors going through the BCM framework which I developed and implemented for this client. The Framework included a Risk Management Framework, Crisis Management Plans, Training and Knowledge Plans, Change and Communication Plans and of course the BCM Policy. I’m tying up the last of the testing requirements for this this initial set of work and looking forward to working with them to finalise the stage 2 audit.
I also had the opportunity to do a bit of roadshow in Darwin with some business partners from the Axiom Group and present on our Business Continuity experience and BCM Solutions software product. Looks like we may be back in a couple of months to do another presentation !

Happy New Year from RMG !
One of my new year’s resolution is to blog a bit more!
Since starting up RMG we have been flat out, developed a lot of great networks and partnerships, in fact Resilience Management Group is the only authorisied channel partner for “BCM Software Solutions” product. RMG has commenced working with the Australasian arms of two significant global organisations to manage and implement an end to end business continuity management system.
January / February will be really busy with managing and leading one client through the audit and certification process for ISO 22301, the global Business Continuity Standard. For the same client we have already provide them with

Resilience Management Group is now up and running. Today, Wednesday 9th October 2013 marked my final meeting of the Victorian Water Industry Risk Management Network as Chair, a role I’ve been proud to have since the group commenced in 2010. A huge thank you to all the Risk Managers from all the Water Authorities and Risk and Governance Team at Department of Environment and Primary Industries for all your support and best wishes.
